Full HD capability and YouTube sharing
During the last two years, camcorders featuring HD video capture and the ability to quickly upload video to share on social networking sites are trends that have taken the market by storm. "Toshiba is taking another step forward in its approach to deliver HD capabilities to the masses by equipping its new Camileo range with full HD capability to further enhance video quality on all price levels," says Marco Perino, General Manager EMEA, PC Options Peripherals and Services, Toshiba Europe GmbH. The newly launched devices, Camileo S20 and Camileo H30 provide full HD resolution (1920 x 1080p, respectively 1920 x 1080i in case of the Camileo X100), whilst the Camileo H30 and the Camileo X100 make video sharing on YouTube easy with just a click of a button.
High resolution even at night
The Camileo S20, Camileo H30 and Camileo X100 capture videos in full HD quality with 1920 x 1080 pixels and show the viewfinder image on a rotatable 3" TFT display. The touchscreen capability enhances usability of the Camileo H30 and X100 by giving easy acces to the menu. They synchronise with laptops or TV sets via HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) or Mini USB 2.0, and Composite Video (PAL, NTSC). To turn the captured videos into creative clips Toshiba adds a 30-days-trial CD of Video deluxe 15 by Magix to the shipment of the new Camileo camcorders.
The new devices are able to capture videos in high quality, in nearly all lighting conditions, as the optimised night mode captures images as if they were taken in bright sunlight. The new Camileo camcorders also serve as digital still cameras and take brilliant snapshots, with a resolution of 5 megapixels (Camileo S20) and 10 megapixels (Camileo H30, Camileo X100).
Camileo S20 - One of the slimmest Full HD camcorders on the market
At only 17 mm thick the Camileo S20 is one of the slimmest full HD camcorders in the world. With its ultra slim form factor, stylish design and choice of seven different colours for the rotable display (Ivory White, Midnight Black, Brown, Ruby Red, Silver, Blue, Pink), the Camileo S20 is the ultimate camcorder for style conscious customers as well as first-time users who demand quality at an affordable price.
Camileo H30 -comfort and reliability for ambitious users
The handy Camileo H30 combines high functionality with ease of use for all day recording. With its quick overview menu offering easy navigation, the 3" touch screen allows both experienced users as well as beginners to get creative. Thanks to the video stabilisation of the Camileo H30, the quality of all clips and photos is clear even when using the 20x zoom.
Camileo X100 - high end camcorder with 10x optical zoom
The sophisticated design is only one reason why the Camileo X100 range is at the top of the Camileo family. The black or silver design hides an extremely powerful 10x optical zoom lens. Those who want to zoom in even further can activate the 10x digital zoom and expand the zoom up to 100x. The camcorder captures videos with a frame rate of 60 fps up to Full HD (1920 x 1080i) and even offers a higher frame rate of 240 fps for WQVGA (424 x 240), ideally suited to be transferred to YouTube platform.
